Cities are built upon layers. Layers of detritus, grime, history and ephemera. They're evolving, morphing and changing, by the second, the minute, the hour.
The evolution of the city has been well documented, from town planners to local artists. Change, at least on a significant scale, rarely goes unnoticed.
However, nowhere is transformation swifter or more unnoticed, than at the most basic level, where the everyday minutiae of change soon becomes the layered artefacts of yesterday.
